All activities of the TÜV SÜD Foundation are directed towards the overarching goal of generating enthusiasm for modern technology and natural sciences among young people. The Foundation is one of the two owners of Germany’s leading TÜV organisation. Its work funds an array of projects throughout Germany, focusing on education and training of young people in STEM subjects – in other words in natural sciences, technology, engineering and mathematics.
Since its establishment in early 2010, the TÜV SÜD Foundation and its projects have enabled young people to access cutting-edge technologies. Offering funding in a wide range of areas, the Foundation accompanies and supports technological transformation with the aim of ensuring equal opportunities and continued economic success.
The scope of project funding at the TÜV SÜD Foundation, for example, spans primary and secondary school projects, support of young people in their training and education in technical, industrial/commercial and academic fields, and funding research projects by internationally renowned scientists at German universities.
